Nobody’s flunkin’ with our first-cut flunken. Also known as short ribs, this is a multipurpose cut that can be used in soups, grilled, braised or slow-cooked.

The approximate size per package is 600 grams. Two or three slices per package.

BEST USES:

Flunken can be a great starter to add to any bean and barley soup, mushroom soup or pea soup. It breaks down well in liquid, and can be easily shredded afterward to enhance the heartiness of any soup. You can also marinate and braise or barbeque for delicious Korean-style ribs, oven barbequed smoky ribs, or tangy barbeque ribs. In addition, these ribs do well in a slow cooker with your favourite sauces and seasonings.
